Safe Way Right Way NGO – Safe Way Right Way Kampala
The Kampala-Malaba Highway-220 km-is the main transit corridor connecting Uganda, a land clocked country to the port of Mombassa through which over 80% of all cargo coming into the country originates.
SWRW is an NGO which helps to deliver the joint TOTAL- World Bank (Global Road Safety Facility) Initiative for regional corridor road safety in Africa.
It has been instrumental installing:
- Road Safety Inspectors providing baseline date/information
- School Zone campaigns
- Speed Management campaigns
- Using speed guns in partnership with Uganda Police Force
- Stakeholder engagement and community sensitisation
