MIROS is the leading regional research centre and an outstanding example of how a research centre should be at the heart of a national road safety programme. It is committed to developing and implementing innovative approaches to road safety challenges. Examples of MIROS’s achievements are many and include new projects like overcoming long-standing problems of sharing the traffic police’s national crash database to support road safety research and development, facilitating and improving interventions and undertaking crash reconstruction to improve road safety.
