Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service – School road safety education programme
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service's road safety team won its award for its leadership in road safety and its innovative work with primary and secondary schools in Cheshire East.
It was noted in particular for its implementation of the schools road safety education programme, being the first Fire & Rescue Service in the country to be commissioned to conduct this important work.
