Asda Grocery Home Shopping has evolved a data-rich, systems based, fleet safety program to engage 6,000 plus drivers across almost 230 locations. Led by both central and local teams, it includes on-line risk assessments, DVLA checks, targeted management and driver engagement, and coaching and communications. Incident rates have halved since 2008 and the company continues to focus on sustainable road safety interventions with the help of Interactive Driving Systems.
