Kent and Medway Safety Camera Partnership – 'Driving Business Safely - Get a Grip'
The 'Driving Business Safely - Get a Grip' campaign targets employers in Kent and Medway with regards to their legal obligations in relation to managing occupational road risk and their duty of care to employees and other road users.
It offer resources including a website, workshops and employee handouts to help businesses understand what they can do to ensure they are within the law, improve their health and safety culture, and benefit from cost savings.
Underlying this is the crucial element of reducing crashes and the number of people killed or seriously injured in collisions involving vehicles being driven for work purposes.
The campaign launched in January 2006 includes a variety of activities that take place throughout each year, with one ‘push’ annually.
