IAM Reports
In 2007 the IAM published the first in a series of five reports using seven years of Stats 19 data to identify key trends in the main road safety problem areas.
By aggregating large incident numbers to give a very large sample size key high risk behaviours and locations were identified.
The output from these reports has ranged from a change in focus for government and police campaigns, to new road safety products and better informed decision making at local and national level.
