Thiago De Moraes Gonzaga Foundation
Thiago de Moraes Gonzaga Foundation established by hiago’s bereaved parents is the first of its kind in Brazil. It runs a range of advocacy and awareness campaigns using volunteers as a “driving force” to help raise awareness and change attitudes towards road safety. In the Vida Urgente Programme volunteers take centre stage in the planning and managing activities. It brings together over 15,000 young volunteers in all 27 Brazilian states. This gives young people an opportunity to make a difference in their communities while developing a range of skills and making new friends.
