Durham Constabulary & Durham County Council – Bikewise
Bikewise is a unique and innovative initiative for motorcyclists developed to promote road safety and motorcycle security throughout the year that include charity rides and culminating in an annual one day show spectacular. Bike Wise engages with motorcyclists and has in collaboration with partners, against a national trend of rising motorcycle casualties, achieved a reduction of 85% in K.S.I. motorcycle accidents and also reduced complaints of antisocial behaviour involving motorcyclists by 60%.
