Consists of two resources: ‘Primary’ and ‘Secondary’ Journeys. It is also the overarching strategy for the work of the Group’s Education team whose projects include: Right Start Child Pedestrian Training Programme; Passport to Safer Cycling; Theatre in Education, and a range of educational resources.

‘Journeys’ was created to establish a programme of road safety education within pre and primary schools to reduce child casualties.

Since ‘Journeys’ was launched in 2005 child pedestrian casualty figures have dropped from 299 to 265 and a substantial increase in training has been experienced.
