The Sandwell Young Drivers? Campaign
The Sandwell Young Drivers’ Campaign has won the Eductaion and Training Award. The scheme is aimed at prospective and new drivers, seeking primarily to address the accident problems in a way which simply does not look or feel like a typical road safety campaign. Sandwell say there is well documented resistance to traditional attempts to reach this age group. The campaign is based on funky advertising and a magazine which has been distributed across the country to nearly one hundred thousand young people.
