Cheshire Constabulary - Constable Martin Clarke
Commendation
Constable Clarke has been instrumental in setting up road safety educational programmes since 1987. He instigated the funding of a new road safety trailer. In 2002, together with the Cheshire Fire Service in Winsford, the Mersyside Ambulance and the Countess of Chester Hospital the Drive Alive Initiative was formed.
1,300 young people have attended Drive Alive, part of which is a mock collision scene.
