AMZS Automobile & Motorcycle Association of Slovenia – Road Assessment Procedures
AMZS in addition to delivering its member services has been performing road assessment procedures as part of the EuroRAP programme since 2008.
Now the club has established a national road assessment consortium bringing together state roads authorities, motorway authorities, police, together with the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Infrastructure. Together they have designed and developed a bespoke inspection system accredited by iRAP and established expert team, which allows them to conduct to perform independent infrastructure surveys. The results are available to responsible road authorities and publicly via brochures and a web site.
A “Star Rating for Schools” programme is now also being introduced.
