Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards

23 June 2016

Nominations for the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards should be submitted by 31st July.

Each year the most outstanding examples of international road safety initiatives are given public recognition through the scheme.

Since 1987 The Prince’s Awards have given public recognition to those who have improved road safety throughout Britain. Now the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards recognise outstanding achievement and innovation world-wide.

Nominations are open to any team, organisation, government department, private sector organisation or business and should be submitted as explained here .

International Awards are presented at appropriate events across the world including the London event, as part of the Prince’s commitment to the Global Decade of Action. All award winners will be invited to meet The Prince at his annual awards ceremony in London on 13th December.

As it is often challenging to evaluate interventions by measuring a change in road casualty numbers or rates due to the difficulty linking changes in casualties specifically to one intervention, the judging criteria have been revised to explain the nature of evaluation required.
