ArriveSafe has worked tirelessly to help reduce issues of alcohol around driving.
Since 2004, the Ministry of Road Transport, Government of India and National Road Safety Council had been attempting to change the Federal laws covering selling alcohol near Highways.
However as the sale of liquor is a state a major source of revenue many states were reluctant to act.
However In 2016 AriveSafe successfully petitioned the Supreme Court of India which passed a decree to ban the sale of liquor along the highways of India.
