TheEuropean Transport Safety Council - a European NGO dedicated to improving the safety of all transport modes and was formed in 1993 provides an impartial source of research-based advice on transport safety matters to European governments and institutions.
Its flagship programme: the Road Safety Performance Index (PIN) identifies and promotes good practice by comparing Member States’ performance.
