Gloucester Safer City
The Gloucester Safer City Project has been highly successful in improving safety across the city by applying a wide range of co-ordinated safety measures. Its success is the result of combining the forces of local opinion, expert road safety advice and engineering improvement into an outstandingly successful national model on how to do it.
The Gloucester Safer City Project was the Premier Award Winner in 2001.
