Is Your Car Safe? Was published by Vision publications in 1999. The book clearly illustrates the dangers posed by road accidents and should be required reading, particularly for young drivers. It has received plenty of publicity in Ireland and to date has sold 10000 copies. As well as providing salutary lessons for those who believe in the illusion of safety as provided in modern cars, it also explains very clearly and succinctly what the effects of impact are on cars and consequently on car occupants.
