Walking Bus

School Community based, 1999

Through 'Travel-Wise' county councils are looking to encourage walking but not at the expense of safety. The concept of the walking bus is to have parent 'driver and conductor' together with pupil 'passenger' who travel a set route at agreed times with several 'bus stops' along the way. All are required to wear reflective HV jackets.
