Road Victims Trust launch film to promote work

3 December 2018

The Road Victims Trust , which provides free emotional and practical support to all people affected by a road death, has launched a hard-hitting film to highlight it work.

The charity, who won a prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in 2016 , in partnership with the Police Forces across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire helps to provide a counselling service to people whose lives have been devastated by a road death.

The film features Kate Goldsmith, Tanya Huckle and Henry Wellbelove- all Ambassadors with the Trust- who speak about the tragic circumstances of the loss of their loved ones, as well as tributes from Police Family Liaison Officers and Counsellors at the Trust.

Speaking about the launch, Chief Executive of the Trust, Mark Turner said,“ This is an incredibly moving and powerful production involving remarkable people. The effects of a road death are absolutely devastating yet all 3 people re-living their experiences are doing so knowing it will enable the Trust to support other people in similar circumstances. I urge everyone to watch the film and learn about our work”.
