PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) – Innovative road and traffic management systems
PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) is Malaysia’s largest highway operator, serving over 1.7 million users daily including 3,000 highway workers. Since 2017, PLUS has implemented an integrated and innovative road and traffic management system – which does much more than simply delivering safe infrastructure.
It has achieved a 3-star iRAP rating across the full 1100km network. It has also created an Expressway Operations Safety Passport with the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health and leads in the delivery of a strategic collaboration with authorities and law enforcement agencies.
PLUS has also committed to an annual investment of 10 percent (£59M) of its toll revenue to enhancing road safety to take better care of customers and workers.
