Pillar 4 call for case studies
The Pillar 4 Alliance working group has identified an opportunity/need to promote best practice from and for NGOs that demonstrates how to address road user behavior effectively. NGOs are invited to submit details about their projects/interventions for consideration as best practice case studies which will be used to present to the UNRSC and may form a publication at a later date.
The purpose of gathering this information is:
- To present Alliance NGO road safety best practices to the UNRSC and other road safety stakeholders, demonstrating NGOs’ contribution to the Decade of Action/SDGs.
- To provide replicable ideas and best practices that can be used by other NGOs and road safety stakeholders to inform their own work.
What are Alliance Pillar Working Groups?
In April 2017, the Alliance announced pillar working groups around the five pillars of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 in order to enable member NGOs to feed into the UNRSC agenda. Pillar 4 focuses on road user behavior.
Deadline for submission of case studies is Monday 10th September 2018.
