What happens next

What happens after you have submitted your nomination.

After we receive your nomination we send you an acknowledgement by email.

Your nomination, along with approximately 90 others, is processed by us and then sent to our panel of judges, who consider each nomination against the judging criteria.

The judges meet and each application is studied and discussed in great detail. If a judge cannot be present at this meeting they send us their opinions and reasons.

The judges’ recommendations are subsequently considered by the Board which makes final recommendations to His Royal Highness for his approval.

Only at this stage are we able to contact the nominees with the results. Letters are emailed at the end of September, early October and contain the reason for the judges decision so they take some time to compile.
